Derek Adams Receives 2026 Judy A. Schwartz “Get the Job Done” Award

GMB is pleased to announce that Derek Adams has been selected as the 2026 recipient of the Judy A. Schwartz “Get the Job Done” Award.

Derek has been a valued member of our Construction Services Group for more than eight years, serving as both a Resident Project Representative and, most recently, a Construction Representative.

This annual award recognizes a GMB team member who exemplifies the hard work, integrity, perseverance, humility, leadership, competency, and temperament demonstrated by former firm leader Judy A. Schwartz. Derek was nominated by his peers, who highlighted his commitment to doing things the right way, his sound judgment, and technical expertise. He is trusted by colleagues, clients, and project partners alike.

Nominators also highlighted Derek’s ability to navigate complex construction challenges as well as his willingness to share his knowledge and help newer team members grow and succeed.
