Judy Schwartz joined the firm in September of 1980 and retired in 2020 after 4 decades of tireless commitment to GMB and the communities we serve. She previously served as Director of Operations and the Group Leader for Civil Engineering in the Seaford office. She has experience in the planning, design, and construction administration of Public Works projects for towns, small cities, and counties in Delaware and the Eastern Shore of Maryland. Her work has included design development, plans and specifications, feasibility studies, preliminary engineering reports, facilities planning, cost-effectiveness studies, grants management, project management, public presentations, and general coordination of engineering projects covering streets, water, wastewater, drainage, and stormwater management. Judy has provided consulting engineering services to the City of Seaford, the Town of Denton, and the Town of Laurel, among others.
Judy has a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Delaware. She holds professional registrations in Maryland and Delaware. In 2008 she acquired her LEED® AP certification, which provides a thorough understanding of green building practices and principles.
