GMB is currently providing structural design services for various condominiums, townhouses, and commercial buildings in Ocean City, Maryland.
Mariner’s Watch, a four story condominium, is currently under construction on 21st Street in Ocean City. The structural design includes four post-tension concrete floor plates, concrete columns, walls, and foundation. The structural design also includes two large post-tension transfer girders in the first floor slab. D.W. Burt Concrete Construction, Inc. is the contractor.
L’IMAGE Condominium is another four story condominium that is under construction in Ocean City, on 139th Street. GMB designed post-tension concrete roof and four floor plates, concrete columns, walls, and foundation. The design also included a large cut-out in the roof plate and three large girder beams in the first floor plate. D.W. Burt Concrete Construction, Inc. is the contractor.
Haven Suites is a three story condominium under construction in Ocean City, located on First Street and Baltimore Avenue. GMB designed three post-tension concrete floor plates, concrete columns, walls, and foundation.
The O.C. Marlin Club is located on West Harbor Road in West Ocean City. GMB provided the structural design for the one story wood framed building supported on a post-tension slab. GMB designed the wood structure, post-tension slab, concrete columns, and foundation. D.W. Burt Concrete Construction, Inc. is the contractor.
The 44th Street Duplexes in Ocean City are now complete. These two-story framed duplex buildings are supported on a post-tension slab. GMB designed the slab, columns, and foundation for the project. D.W. Burt Concrete Construction, Inc. was the contractor.
The Tamarindo Town Houses are located on 56th Street in Ocean City. GMB is working with Jeff Schoellkopf, AIA, to complete the three-story wood framed houses, supported by concrete foundation walls. GMB designed the wood structure and foundation. The townhouses are currently under construction.
Last but not least, GMB provided structural engineering services for an addition to Taylor Bank in Berlin, Maryland. Working with Jeff Schoellkopf, AIA, GMB designed the steel framing and foundation for the addition to the existing structure. The design included geometrics and a round turret.
